Tactile Guide Path floors consist of a surface equipped with parts in relief, already used and well known throughout the world and designed to be easily perceived when walked upon or by the white stick normally used by blind or visually impaired persons, but also visually in contrast with respect to the rest of the floor; this surface must be installed onto the treading plan to allow the visually impaired to 'orientate and recognise sources of risk' as provided for by the Law
