Precautions when using stainless steel flanges
1, in order to prevent the stainless steel flange cover heating to produce the eye corrosion, welding current should not be too large, less than carbon steel electrode 20% or so, arc should not be too long, between the layers of fast cooling to narrow weld road is advisable.
2, stainless steel flange electrode should be kept dry, titanium calcium type should be 150 ℃ dry 1 hours, low a hydrogen type should be 200-250 ℃ dry for 1 hours (can not be repeated drying, or the skin prone to cracking peeling), to prevent the solder paste oil and other dirt, so as to avoid the weld to increase the carbon content and affect the quality of the weldment.
3, stainless steel flange pipe welding, by repeated heating precipitated carbide, reduce corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
4, chromium stainless steel flange pipe after welding hardening of the United States standard flange is larger, prone to crack. If the same type of chromium stainless steel electrode (G202, G207) welding, must be 300 ℃ above the preheating and welding 700 ℃ around the slow treatment.
